New PatientsIf you or a family member can benefit from orthodontic treatment, please call our office or simply fill out our appointment request form online. It would be our pleasure to schedule an appointment time for you. Current PatientsWhen you begin orthodontic treatment, you will most likely be asked to visit us every 6-10 weeks. Inevitably, some of these visits may conflict with work or school obligations. While some of these schedule conflicts may be unavoidable, it is our goal to minimize these inconveniences as much as possible. Please click here to request an appointment. “Emergency” AppointmentsEvery now and again, appliances may come loose or become an irritant to your teeth, mouth, cheek or gums. In many situations, you can repair the irritation yourself, however, some irritations may need to be immediately addressed in our office. Please give us a call to determine how quickly the repair needs to take place. “Adjustment” AppointmentsAdjustment appointments allow for us to make technical adjustments to your braces during the visit. Most of these appointments only take between 15 – 30 minutes to complete. Although we will do everything we can to accommodate your appointment requests, it is not always possible for your preferred time to be scheduled and on occasion your appointment may conflict with a prior obligation. In the event that your appointment causes you to miss part of work or school, we will be happy to provide you with a written excuse for you to turn in upon your return. Longer AppointmentsBecause adjustment appointments are typically very quick and can be streamlined easily, we generally try to schedule most of them before and after school. To allow for the best treatment possible, longer appointments requiring more extensive work to be completed are generally scheduled during work and school hours. Late Arrivals & Rescheduled AppointmentsPlease remember that every time an appointment is missed or rescheduled, your treatment time may increase. We completely understand extenuating circumstances may cause you to change or forget about an appointment and that you may need to reschedule. If you need to change an appointment or you unfortunately missed one, please call us as soon as possible so we can schedule you into the next available appointment time. If you are going to be late for an appointment, please call us as soon as possible so we may make appropriate arrangements. Each orthodontic procedure takes a specific period of time to complete and late arrivals affect our schedule and the schedules of other patients. If you are late, we will always uphold your appointment, but the work may not be completed and a second appointment may need to be scheduled. |
